hot_button-allergyAt ENT Professional Services, PC our specialists focus on the head and neck and the complex medical conditions affecting these areas—and that naturally includes allergies. Aside from the sneezing and itchy eyes, there are actually many head and neck complaints that can be caused in part by allergies. So going to a head and neck specialist just makes good sense.

Allergy Testing

Our Allergy nurse will test for 38 allergens, including dogs, cats, dust mites and more common grasses, trees and molds. Our skin testing is done on the arms and involves scratches (pricks) and placing a small amount of the antigen under the first layer of skin.  This is then timed for 10 minutes and measured.

Treatment

Allergy shots are a once-a-week injection given in our office They have been proven to be very effective and have been used in the United States for many years.

Drops are placed under the tongue daily at home. Compliance is necessary to achieve the maximum results.  Insurance at this time does not cover Sublingual Therapy, and therefore is on a cash-only basis.
