Dr. Jay Burmeister is a board-certified otolaryngologist (ENT specialist) who provides expert care for both children and adults with ear, nose and throat conditions. A native of the Eldridge area, he is proud to have returned home to the Quad Cities to serve the community where he grew up.

Dr. Burmeister earned his medical degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery at Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. His areas of expertise include nasal and sinus surgery, allergy management, and a wide range of ear disorders.

Known for his warm and genuine demeanor, Dr. Burmeister connects effortlessly with patients of all ages, making visits comfortable and reassuring whether treating a child or an adult.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys playing and coaching soccer with his children, biking, and spending quality time with his family.
